"I’ve worked with Angel Chaparro for 6 plus years and he handles all of my vehicles and multiple rental properties. I have had to file claims on a few of those properties and they have always exceeded my expectations. Very responsive and attentive. I felt like he actually cared for my situation which means a lot when you are going through a natural disaster on your home. I highly recommend him."

"Was with State Farm dating back 30 years to a previous owner of this agency. Once Doris left this office, any semblance of customer service disappeared. Unreturned phone calls, misinformation, and errors in billing and starting new policies. The straw that broke the camel's back: At the end of last year, we received notice that a life insurance policy was going to expire. I called six months ago and was assured it wouldn't expire and the premium wouldn't change. Until I got my bill today and it went up nearly $200 a month. Conveniently, they don't have "notes" of my conversation with the representative who was either incompetent, dishonest, or too lazy to expend the energy to obtain correct information. We will be moving every policy we have to a different agent. We're encouraging our extended family to do the same. I also encourage anyone reading this review to look elsewhere for insurance. You'll be glad you did."

We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered and understand your frustration. We value long-term relationships with our customers and it is disheartening to hear that our service has not met your expectations since Doris left the office over 5 years ago. We would like to respond to a few of your concerns though, to be fair to any prospective customers & ensure accurate reviews to our agency. Based on the documentation that our team does make, we have always returned calls, it is a point of pride in our agency that if our customers leave a message we respond the same day even if we have to stay after hours to do so. We have had customers complain that we missed a call from them and didn’t call back, but after talking with them they do realize they did not leave a message so we are unaware to call them – but we do return all calls the same day for anyone that leaves a message. We are truly sorry for the frustration with the life insurance policy that was purchased about 11 years prior to your transfer to our agency, as there appears to be misunderstandings when you bought it on how term insurance works. We take this matter seriously and after investigating further to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future, we do show notes based on a call your wife did have in late December with Kalum where she set up an appointment about the policy, and the reason was that he did explain the policy would increase automatically upon renewal based on how these policies work, and that we wanted to meet to discuss options that you still had available before that happened in July. However, unfortunately you both missed the January meeting to review the options available to you. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service, and we regret that we fell short in this instance, including attempting to set follow up appointments when we didn’t get a chance to talk again about this policy before the July renewal. We appreciate your loyalty to State Farm over the past 30 years, and after your calls last week where we attempted to go over some of these concerns and ways to resolve them, we understand your decision to seek a different agent. We hope you find they meet your needs and expectations. If there is anything else we can do to assist you during this transition, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve our services going forward. Sincerely, Angel Chaparro"

"I only chose Angel since my parents had a policy with them but after my parents got into an accident that was not at their fault and seeing the lack of communication from angel in trying to help them fix their car I will be switching my policy to a different agent who is a little more hands on and will be reachable when needed. It has been over a week and they have not yet been able to reach him to go over the claims. new has changed."

I am not able to see anything about your or your parents' particular claim - however based on your feedback I can assure you that I and my team follow up on each & every claim within a few days of it being filed and various times over the course of the claim to completion when there are issues occurring. Please do call the office, let them know if something new is going on & we'd be happy to continue to help get this resolved again. "Just started with this agency and while they were able to guarantee a quote, they failed to do the due diligence which resulted in additional changes to my policy premium a month after. Asked them to remove one month`s charge of 18 dollars to help alleviate the extra cost which is now added to my policy, but they wouldn`t. Rep did accept their error in checking additional information, which was decent of them. polite, seemingly assertive, fast response, but do make sure they process and underwrite with all updated info. CUSTOMER BEWARE."
